New Milk Tank

OK, I was happy with the old tank.

But it died...and we tore the barn apart..

So we got a new one...
of course bigger is better...

And patched the hole for now...Thank you Dad for buying lots of tarps...I inherited a few..

Sarah likes the new one..

I always wanted a tank with a ladder..

Carl tells me the cows will milk more when they see this big new tank...

Easter Pictures

We were fortunate to have Tanya and her family for Easter. Here are Emma, Madilyn, Sarah, and Carrie waiting patiently to start their Easter egg hunt.

Sarah is happy, she got the whole bowl while everyone else was looking for eggs.

T J is happy too!

Sheila helped a lot with dinner, Sarah ate.

Carrie ate.

Kara is thinking about eating.

Stacy lost her ears.

Grandma avoiding the confusion.

Sheila & Art, Mike(just returned from Afganistan), Charles (who is soon leaving for some island in the Caribbean to learn how to be a doctor) and his girlfriend Charlene.

And David made the trip all the way from Ottawa to enjoy our Easter ham. Victoria & Brad, and Brad's father Carl were here too. Carl came all the way from Iqaluit, Nunavit.

And here is Jesse , Gilbert, & Bradford hiding in the back room, making the decisions that will change our lives!

Colonoscopy

Today I enjoyed the pleasure of a colonoscopy. Despite all the warnings of how miserable it would be, it went off smoothly. (It helped to be laying next to a fellow waiting to pass a kidney stone). Even the cleaning out went well yesterday, and I did a good job as you can see from the picture. Many thanks to Tanya, who made a special trip down to drive me in and out from the hospital. Now I'm off to gather eggs.

This Cowboy is Always up to a Challenge...

It took 3 days of searching Kings county for the roughest, toughest, meanest, dirtiest steer with the biggest, sharpest horns, but today we found it... And at 52 years old I climbed on and rode it, not for just 8 seconds, but it must have been 8 minutes, while Jesse took various pictures(he needed just the right light!!).
