Jesse celebrated his 28th birthday today and was sung Happy Birthday to you by 56 kids from Lakefield Elementary. Including a unique count up to the number 28.

We are about halfway through our school tours with about 700 kids this year.

Happy Birthday Emmabear!!
Lil Emma turned 12 today! Wow. Times flies. Always a special girl as she was first grand kid. And in a year like this, a benchmark for the weather. Yes, it continues to be cold, but thinking back to Emma's birth day, we had to take the old Escort as it was the only vehicle left with snow tires on. Talked with Jim last night and he remembered the game of ping pong we had while waiting for Tanya to shower and primp after her water broke. Happy Birthday Emma!!!

Here we are on New Years Eve 2013. I have finally ( thanks to Victoria) figured out how to do this blog from my phone. So maybe I'll do a better job this coming year. A New Years resolution?
It has been quite a year. Sarah and i both had good trips away in the early part of the year. Then. Cold spring. Wet summer. Lots of feed. New barn for our chickens. Not much chance to use our new boat. No new grand kids ( not for long tho ). A busy fall. Just managed to get the manure out but the pump is still frozen in the pit. And we still have heifers and dry cows out. A good place to feed our round bales. They are looking good and the fence still has shock in it, but the fence is only a few inches above the snow. Ok. I'm rambling. Happy New Years all. Two pictures. We shipped 5029 litres of milk today, which is a new high for us. And a pic for Tanya. Maritime Pride is now picking up our eggs right from our barn. Which is so cool.

Happy Birthday Carrie!!!
Our little Carebear turned 19 sometime in the night, the last of her friends to do so. A few of her friends made sure she was at the right place to be, and Jesse and Trent made sure they made it home safely. Happy Birthday Carrie!!
