Congratulations to Stacy and Gilbert on the safe arrival of Solomon Alexander. He conveniently waited until the icy roads were passable, and they ventured into Saint John around 3:30 this morning. 

 

2013

Here we are on New Years Eve 2013. I have finally ( thanks to Victoria) figured out how to do this blog from my phone. So maybe I'll do a better job this coming year. A New Years resolution?

It has been quite a year. Sarah and i both had good trips away in the early part of the year. Then. Cold spring. Wet summer. Lots of feed. New barn for our chickens. Not much chance to use our new boat. No new grand kids ( not for long tho ). A busy fall. Just managed to get the manure out but the pump is still frozen in the pit. And we still have heifers and dry cows out. A good place to feed our round bales. They are looking good and the fence still has shock in it, but the fence is only a few inches above the snow. Ok. I'm rambling. Happy New Years all. Two pictures. We shipped 5029 litres of milk today, which is a new high for us. And a pic for Tanya. Maritime Pride is now picking up our eggs right from our barn. Which is so cool.

Our little Carebear turned 19 sometime in the night, the last of her friends to do so. A few of her friends made sure she was at the right place to be, and Jesse and Trent made sure they made it home safely. Happy Birthday Carrie!!

Today little Sarah turned 5 years old. She is a cutie! I will always remember the call we got, just after landing at Halifax, from England, from Tanya, saying she was in labour, and after going through customs getting another call, announcing the birth of Sarah. Happy Birthday Sarah!!!

Hailey turns 3 today! I thought about calling Tanya at 3:00 AM to remind her of this, but thought better of it. We will go down to Halifax Sunday and see Hailey then. Happy Birthday Hailey!!!
